The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to promote the upcoming bout.

"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."

In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."

In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge earnings.

The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
